It feels crazy to admit I am approaching my 13th year as a Yorkshire resident living in York specifically. I remember first moving here and falling in love with the vibe of the city, it was busy but somehow still calm. Nothing like the other cities I knew like London or Manchester. It definitely had a charm that felt different and at the age of 19 I couldn’t wait to get to know the city more. Becoming a photographer has made me appreciate Yorkshire even more, the ruins that were once beautiful but still hold an impressive and unique charm, the many well kept gardens, grand stately homes, the rivers; there are just so many beautiful sites to see and to photograph and so many gorgeous back drops for couples on their special day. Yorkshire weddings have this classic feel that just feels like home to so many of us.
